Corina Wilkes

Corina Wilkes is the Principal-In-Charge of US Access Consultants, Inc. who has been a Senior Accessibility Specialist since 2000.  Corina is a California Certified Accessibility Specialist, Texas Registered Access Specialist and International Code Council Certified Accessibility Inspector. She performs plan reviews, conducts training sessions on accessibility, provides accessibility consulting services, and leads code reviews and accessibility compliance surveys with specific attention to the American’s with Disabilities Act Accessibility Guidelines, American National Standards Institute, International Building Code, Fair Housing Act, Texas Accessibility Standards, and California Title 24 code compliance.  Compliance surveys have included a number of project types, including amusement parks, port districts, local jurisdictions, residential communities, assisted living facilities, hotel chains, restaurant chains, airports, medical care facilities, military facilities, financial institutions, public sector facilities, commercial buildings and retail locations.  Corina is the leader of our accessibility team and handles the organization and management of barrier removal and corrective action plans.  She has also served as an expert witness to many accessibility cases. Corina is a member of the National Association of ADA Coordinators, and she received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, San Diego.


Katie Schumaker, Senior Staff, US Access Consultants

Katie Shiell

Katie Shiell has been a Senior Accessibility Specialist since 2008. She is a California Certified Access Specialist (CASp). Katie has specific experience with accessibility plan reviews, consulting services, surveys, design, inspections, and compliance plan documentation, including barrier removal consulting and corrective action plans. She is the lead on all database management and code research/documentation. Katie has also participated in conducting training sessions on accessibility for various companies. As the Senior Accessibility Specialist, she reviews plans, directs field surveys, collects data of all barriers, and creates the barrier removal reports. She is also responsible for barrier documentation on plans that correlate with the reports generated by our firm. Katie is a member of the National Association of ADA Coordinators and she received her Bachelor of the Arts Degree from the University of California, Riverside.
